Hey, I’m Samba. I work on backend software and have experience with Java, Spring and cloud technologies. I’m also interested in understanding what happens beneath the abstractions: how operating systems, networks, concurrency and storage systems work.
This site is where I document things I build, bugs I investigate and concepts I’m learning. Some posts are practical debugging notes; others are smaller explanations and experiments. I try to include the code, the reasoning and the trade-offs rather than just the final answer.
Outside the code, I keep a small bookshelf of the books I’m reading and the ones that have influenced what I’m learning.
